Information We Collect
Personal Information. By using the SendWork Platform, we may collect contact details, demographic data, and other personally identifiable information (such as name, mobile phone number, email address, work history, and taxpayer identification number) that you voluntarily provide to us as part of the registration process, when you contact us, or when you participate in the Services (such as when you sign up for newsletters, enter contents, apply for promotional cards and vouchers, or complete surveys). If you choose to share information about yourself via interactive areas of our Site, please be advised the information you disclose in these areas is public information and will be accessible to anyone who accesses the SendWork Platform.
Payment Details. In connection with the payment of Jobs, we may collect data related to your payment method (e.g. card brand, expiration date). We do not, however, view or store your credit card information. This is handled by third-party payment processors.
Mobile Device Information. When you access the Site from a mobile device, our servers may automatically record information that your mobile device transmits, including your device name and type, your device ID number, version of your operating system, access times, browser information, user settings, your geographical location, and information about your use of the Services, such as your interactions with the other Users via server log files. Information may also be collected via mobile device IDs and other similar tracking technologies to recognize you.
Location Information. If you use the SendWork Platform, we may access your generic location (such as city or neighborhood) data, or, with your consent, your geolocation data, which, if enabled, may be received by us every time you use the SendWork Platform. We may use and store this location information to provide and improve features of our Services, for example, to provide you more relevant content about Jobs and Providers in your neighborhood, and geolocation information enables location of the Job site.
Verification and Background Information. Some data we collect is publicly available. We may also collect data about you from other entities. By gathering additional data about you, we can correct inaccurate information, enhance the security of your transactions, and provide recommendations and special offers that may be of interest to you. Additionally, we check the backgrounds of each Provider using a third-party background check service that includes, but is not limited to a national criminal record check. These checks include but are not limited to, verification of identification and criminal record background checks at the national level. Providers hereby grant SendWork their express consent to conduct and perform such background checks as required or deemed appropriate by SendWork. These checks will be in compliance with federal and state laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Information We Use
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you in connection with the SendWork Platform to:
Ensure Users are provided with the Services in a timely manner.
Identify, authenticate, and bill Users for use of the Services.
Increase the efficiency and operation of the SendWork Platform.
Monitor, analyze, and computer usage and trends on the Site and to improve your experience with the SendWork Platform.
Request feedback, conduct surveys and otherwise contact you about your use of the SendWork Platform.
Notify Users of any news or developments regarding the Services and to deliver targeted advertising to Users.
Compile anonymous statistical information and analysis for use internally or with third parties.
Enable User-to-User communications and post your comments, ratings, and reviews.
Detect, prevent, or investigate security breaches, fraud, or other illegal activity in connection with the SendWork Platform and enforce the Terms and Conditions for Users.
Maintain appropriate records for internal administrative purposes.
Information We Share
We may share information we have about you as follows:
With Third Party Services. We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including payment processors, background service check firms, data analytic services, email delivery vendors, hosting services, geolocation application programming interface services (e.g. Google Maps), telecommunication companies, and wireless service providers.
To Protect Lawful Interests. If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process or a request for information, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or as necessary to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others. This includes exchanging information with other entities for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Your Public Posts. We support and encourage you to interact with other Users of the SendWork Platform. When you use interactive features of our Services, your comments, ratings, reviews, and photos may be viewed by all Users and may be publicly distributed outside our Site.
With Other Users. In order to provide the Services, when a Provider is willing and able to perform a Job, we will display certain information about the Provider to the Client who requested the Job, including Provider’s name, photograph, and rating. When a Client submits a request for the performance of a Job, we will display certain information about the Client to Providers, including the Client’s name, address, and rating.
With Advertisers and Marketing Firms. Our Services may be supported by third-party advertising services or networks that post advertisements on the Site. These third-party advertising services or networks use technology to send, directly to your mobile device, the advertisements, and links that appear in connection with the SendWork Platform. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content to you. We also may share your data with marketing firms to assess, develop, and provide you with promotions and special offers that may be of interest to you, administer sweepstakes and events, or for other promotional purposes.
Anonymized Data. We may share your information in a way that does not directly identify you. For example, we may share data about your use of our SendWork Platform in a way that does not identify you or may combine data about the nature or frequency of your transactions with similar information about other users and share the aggregated information for statistical analysis and other business purposes.
For Our Business Transactions. If we reorganize or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer your information to the successor entity. If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party.
Interactive Features. You may be able to participate in certain activities via the Site that gives you the opportunity to communicate or share information not just with us, but also with other users of the SendWork Platform. These activities include posting comments, ratings, reviews, and photos. You understand that when you use the SendWork Platform, the information you post on interactive areas, as well as information you share with specific Users may be publicly available and can be collected and used by others. For example, if you post your email address, you may receive unsolicited messages. We cannot control who reads your posts or what other Users may do with the information you voluntarily post, so we recommend you be cautious about sharing personal information in online forums. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share personal information and we have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU WILL ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OF PRIVACY OR OTHER HARM RESULTING FROM YOUR VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect personally identifiable information. While we have taken reasonable steps to make the personal information you provide to us as secure as possible against unauthorized access, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other types of misuse. Any information disclosed online can potentially be intercepted and used by unauthorized parties. To help ensure security via the Internet, we recommend you keep your browser up to date with all current security patches, use a unique username and password that you do not share, and prohibit anyone else from accessing your profile.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
IP Address Monitoring
An Internet Protocol Address is an automatic number provided by the User’s internet service provider that is assigned to User’s computer (“IP Address”). SendWork and third parties who perform services for or on our behalf may collect your IP Address when you use the SendWork Platform. Our servers automatically store your IP Address when you log onto the Site. Your IP Address is identified by the server and the server keeps track of your time, pages you visit, and the number of visits to the Site. Through our server that contains Users’ IP Addresses, we monitor the regions from which you use the SendWork Platform and we may also use IP Addresses to detect and monitor fraudulent activity.
Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Market Research and Choice to Opt-Out
SendWork may use, analyze, and aggregate personally identifiable information about you and your web usage as well as navigational data based on your interests for market researching purposes (“Market Research”). Users selected through Market Research may receive PERSONALIZED OFFERS FROM SENDWORK OR THIRD PARTIES THAT PROVIDE SERVICES FOR OR ON BEHALF OF SENDWORK BY PHONE, TEXT, EMAIL, FAX, OR OTHER BUSINESS CONTACT METHOD (“MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS”). A User may opt-out of receiving Marketing Communications. If you wish to opt-out of receiving Marketing Communications from us, you may do so during the registration process (and later by editing the marketing preferences in your profile). After logging onto the Site, click on your profile on the top right of any page, select “Notifications,” click on “email alerts,” and make your selections. Even after opting-out, you may continue to receive marketing materials from third parties to whom we have already provided your email information. You will be responsible for directly contacting such third parties to request cessation of further marketing materials.

Editing and Deleting Your Information
If you believe any information we have about you in your account is incorrect or incomplete, you may update or delete your information in your account yourself. To edit your information, log into the Site and go to “My Account” at the top of the page. Please note, if you completely delete all of your information, your account may become deactivated. Certain information cannot be changed by you, such as your age. If you believe any information we have about you is incorrect and you cannot change it yourself, contact us via the “Support” tab located on all pages of the Site. Personally identifiable information about Users made available to us or through the SendWork Platform will be retained in our databases for as long as deemed appropriate by SendWork. For example, we will retain some personal information to help prevent fraud, to troubleshoot problems, to assist with any investigations, and to comply with legal requirements. Additionally, we may keep a history of changed information to investigated suspected fraud with your account. Therefore, you should not expect that all your personal information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.
Policy for Children
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) protects the online privacy of children under the age of 13 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 18. If we learn that personally identifiable information from users less than 13 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such information from our records; however, please be aware that the information may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our databases. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 years of age who has transferred personal information via the SendWork Platform, please contact us using our contact information below to have your child’s information deleted.
Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers or systems located outside of the state or country where the information was originally collected. The privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us via the SendWork Platform, we may transfer your information to the United States and process it there. Your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
